With all the advancements in protein supplements what is the best protein supplement to take?

One that has a high biological value and is reasonably priced.
Come on who gives a flying F!*@ if a protein supplement has a slow, moderate or fast absorption rate, as long as the bugger is absorbed. In the 60’s bodybuilders only had cheap egg and milk protein powder to supplement their diet and they didn’t do too bad, did they?
It’s quite ironic really when athletes are hyper critical when it comes to buying a protein supplement but have no problems eating tuna, which incedently has only a moderate biological value.
The secret to nutrition is to be consistent, eat good wholesome low fat foods and use supplements as they were intended and that is to supplement your diet.
My diet consists of around 50% wholesome foods and 50% protein/meal replacement supplementation. I do rely heavily on protein supplements because they are practical and cost effective. My personal favourite is Proteios II, It’s easy mixing, great tasting and above all else reasonably priced.
